Departure at 7:00 AM from Marrakech. Journey through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m). Visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon. Camel trek into the desert to reach your camp. Enjoy dinner and traditional entertainment around the campfire under the stars.
Wake early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, enjoy free time to explore the desert. Try sandboarding down the dunes or visit a nomadic family to learn about their lifestyle. Return to camp for lunch and relaxation. In the late afternoon, camel trek to a different dune area for sunset. Dinner and overnight at the desert camp.
Enjoy sunrise over the dunes before breakfast. Camel trek back to Merzouga village. Begin the return journey to Marrakech, passing through Rissani, Erfoud, and the Ziz Valley. Stop for lunch in Midelt. Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through cedar forests and Berber villages. Arrive in Marrakech around 7:00 PM.
